Stationery and menu design for Le Sud restaurant, Hôtel Martinez

Located on the famous Croisette in Cannes, the Hôtel Martinez is a mythical establishment, rooted in the collective unconscious, that embodies a certain idea of the Côte d’Azur. With its location facing the Mediterranean Sea and its 1930s architecture, the Martinez offers luxurious rooms and suites, refined cuisine in its Michelin-starred restaurants, top-of-the-range facilities for business travelers and a relaxing spa. The hotel offers an unforgettable experience where luxury and sophistication meet on the French Riviera.

Le Sud restaurant

Le Sud restaurant follows the arrival of chef Jean Imbert as head of the hotel’s restaurants. This space between lobby bar and restaurant has been designed to share relaxed moments, day and night. It’s a versatile, open space, designed to be the real beating heart of the Hôtel Martinez.

Collaboration with Violaine & Jérémy

Violaine & Jérémy, the creative studio in charge of the restaurant’s artistic direction, entrusted us with the creation of some of the restaurant’s stationery and menus. Their artistic vision and our technical know-how were combined to create stationery that would match the elegance and prestige of the Hôtel Martinez. The wine list The wine list is made from blue vegan leather, embossed and hot-stamped in a yachting spirit, with its nautical knots. This choice of materials and techniques perfectly reflects the sophisticated, maritime ambience of the French Riviera. In addition to being environmentally friendly, vegan leather offers a luxurious, durable texture, ideal for intensive use in a renowned restaurant.

Coasters, business cards and billfolds

The coasters, business cards and billfolds reflect this French Riviera spirit, and are made from creative paper with micro-textured hot stamping. These stationery items add a touch of elegance and visual consistency to the overall customer experience at Le Sud restaurant. Each piece is designed to offer a unique tactile experience, while being both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
