Invitation cards for the Prix de la Photographie Dior 2022

One of our recent emblematic projects was the production of invitation cards for the Prix de la Photographie Dior 2022, a renowned event held in Arles. The invitations were conceived and designed by the talented Anamorphée studio. Our mission was to produce these invitations in keeping with their creative vision, using our exceptional know-how to create invitations that are both elegant and innovative.

An obvious choice of paper: Materica Clay by Fedrigoni

The choice of paper is essential to convey an impression of quality and sophistication. For the invitation cards for the Prix de la Photographie Dior 2022, the Anamorphée studio selected Materica Clay paper from the renowned papermaker Fedrigoni. This paper is distinguished by its refined texture and subtle color, providing a perfect base for the hot stamping and gilding techniques we used.

Fluorescent green hot stamping: a bold touch

To add a bold, original touch to these invitations, the Anamorphée studio’s design incorporated neon green hot stamping. This technique, which involves applying a thin layer of metallic or pigmented film to the paper, creates patterns and text with bright reflections and vibrant colors. Fluorescent green, in particular, was chosen for its striking contrast with Materica Clay paper, adding a modern, dynamic dimension to the invitation.

Orange edge gilding: a luxurious finish

To perfect these invitation cards, the Anamorphée studio imagined an orange-colored edge gilding. This technique involves applying a thin layer of gilding to the edges of the invitations, creating a shiny, luxurious effect that’s visible even when the invitations are stacked. The orange color, complementing the neon green, adds a touch of warmth and sophistication, reinforcing the invitations’ prestigious appearance.
